You are dealing with scum CAs/attorneys??? maybe maybe not. Your best bet is to stop communicating with these scum. There is a lot of psychology in debt collection. CAs and their attorneys lie and threaten. Most of it is just plain bull. IGNORE THEM for now. IF THEY SUE (odds are good that they won't) then you file your answer and make them validate every penny. When was the last time you paid the original creditor before the account became deliquent. It costs money for them to sue you, and they would have to get an attorny in Nevada to actually sue you. They are feeding you bull. They can't sue if they are not licensed to practice law in Nevada. AND by threatening to sue you, they are in violation of the FDCPA. Why do I think these are garbage collectors trying to collect on a debt that is SOL? How old is this debt?
