I am confused. I have received a credit card from a credit union in 1998. The last payment they received was in 1999. This should be outside the SOL. But, they are saying that because it was "under seal", they have 12 years to collect.

1.) Can a consumer credit card be signed under seal like that?

2.) If I do have a legitimate SOL claim, is there anyway to file a motion to defend if the date to do so has passed (paperwork says 2 weeks from being served...which was in April...case to be held end of June)?
