What KIND of "lien" are you talking about?
Whose NAME is the "lien" in?
Was this the result of you being sued and having a judgment from a debt?
If so, and the title and registration is in your Mother's name, and she was NOT the one who was sued, then you have nothing to worry about.

EVEN if you are co-owner on the TITLE to the car, as long as it is registered under your Mother's name, there can be no claim against the car from a judgment lien against you.

IF you are being sued, or already have been sued, you may be able to get the judgment vacated.
