that is my chief bitch with CC. they simply dont care nor work with us at all. cap1 claims to have a hardship program..however i was told it is "up to them" who gets it or why. . i think its a ploy to add more fees. if you end in court, try using that to the judge , that you tried and they refused. i have no idea if it will work but at least make them fight and spend time on you..time is money to lawyers.. the more time you cause them to spend, the more it costs them and at least you showed them you werent some patsy. but yes, hardship programs are crap. why--i have no clue. they had rather CO and get the tax write off than care about other human beings. since you have a written contract and can prove you kept up your end..maybe that will show the judge they broke it. makes sense to me but we all know law makes no sense. remember how CAs lie. one told me cap1 would have my account back by midnight and sue me. that was months ago. lol. if you have this in writing...good for you...i dont see how they can "take you off it"./..thats breaks a contract. good luck!
