They cannot overcome the first lien/loan so it doesn't make sense for them to take the van and sell it to pay off the first loan and get nothing for themselves while paying the sheriff and court cost to do this. If they do do it, then your first loan will come after you to collect too when the van doesn't cover the loan amount.

The bank that has the van loan can repossess it if you are behind in payments by just coming and taking it. Maybe you should just give it back to the first bank.
