I found both of these to be of enormous help, along with Why Chat's format. Leave out the SOL affirmative defense. Statute of Frauds, Failure to State a Cause, Latches (which is an equitable defense that is related to the SOL, but is based on fairness and caselaw) and failure to name all parties (since they claim to be an "assignee" but never include the assignor as a party to the suit) are all affirmative defenses that I used.
