in texas,,they can not sue in small claims. check your state or ask a lawyer..the IRA thing...ours was protected how it was written. that is complicated and depends on how the account is set up. ask a lawyer. to seize accounts they must file suit. in tx, they can freeze a account b4 suing. so i would change accounts..or go to cash. no savings..at all...you will lose it in BK or judgement either one. cash and lie. lol. im sure it all went to the medical anyways. they can get a judgement for all you owe and interest on top of that. enforceable usually for at least 10 yrs in most states and some renewable. not worth it..not worth the CA calling with their bs...BK it at that amount.
