a lien here prevents us from selling until its paid first. it also prevents re fi. they cannot..check your state...force anything if its homesteaded. in texas. plus it depends on the equity and all...depends on your state. they may not can lien it at all. they sure cant force you out in texas. it depends on where you are and your state laws. and the worth of the property and how its titled..in community states ,...for example.
