Believe me, I understand your bitterness when you've been a model customer and ran into a bureaucratic wall trying to transact legitimate business.

But the tail frequently wags the dog in this country, all because a minute minority choose to break the law every which way they can. Those of us who try our best to live by the rules are the ones who suffer the most, unfortunately.

However, I truly doubt that you would have gotten any better treatment at the hands of any other financial institution. I'm sure they had little choice in the matter and are not pleased that they had to treat one of their best customers like a criminal. They probably already know that they've lost a customer.
