Child support payments are exempt and judgment creditors will have to take a backseat to any other consideration. If they get a judgment, file your exemptions and your court ordered payments such as childsupport which is considered similar to priority creditors. They will have to wait and stand in line to get their money. Child support payments take priorities over any judgment actions. Get yourself a lawyer and make your exemptions.
