If they have judgement against you, and they can find your bank accounts, they can seize them to satisfy a judgement. You are moving to Columbia, but there are other countries where your money will be safe. They don't ask for social security and they don't report to anyone. If you bring the money back to the US, you must pay tax on interest gained. The thing about international accounts, although they can be good, you have to watch the exchange rate. There are also a lot of regulations that you must abide by when transferring money around. Personally, I don't think most CAs would have a clue as to where to look or what to look for, and it would be costly to them too.
