You can go after the Collection Agency and the individual collector. Most use psuedo or "professional" names, but the name must be listed with the company and registered with (usually) the sec'y of state of the state they are located in. Also when registering those names they agree that the sec'y of state is their agent for service of process.

I have always advocated this, if they take the job and break the law, they must be made to suffer the consequences.
