At the bottom of any mail you receive from a CA there will be by law the mini miranda.

"This is an attempt to collect a debt and any informationobtained will be used for that purpose. This communication is sent to you by ............a professional debt collection agency. " The mini miranda can vary somewhat, but that is the jest of it.
