Hi Everyone. I'll try to keep this short and simple.

My husband was injured on the job and was seeing a dr for treatment under workers comp. (employer: UPS state: Maryland) Workers comp was not paying the bills promptly so the doctors office turned us over to collection company (National Recovery). National recovery then started reporting unpaid bills to my husbands credit file. I pulled his credit report and found they are reporting each bill twice on his report. Also since they originally reported - the bills have all been paid but one.

So, I contacted the dr. office and asked her to update the credit report that these things are paid and correct the one that is listed twice. They wont speak to me and said i had to contact the collection agency. I asked for a receipt from her office to prove these things are paid, she refuses to provide me one (said i had to get that from the bill collector).
I've called the bill collector 100 times but all i get is voice mails and no one will return my call. Finally today after 2 weeks some idiot called me back and didn't understand any of what i was complaining about.
She said she'd get back to me (i doubt) but she couldn't provide me a receipt for payment, she didn't even know the accounts had been paid.
I have written letters to credit agencies but since i dont have proof the accounts are paid i doubt they will do anything for me. (I haven't heard back from them yet).
Anyone have any suggestions? We are trying to buy a house and these errors have really brought his score down tremendously.
HELP!!
