There is nothing you can do to get the OC off of your credit report if it's been validated, even if they've sold the account to a CA. It will stay on the report until the 7 year reporting period ends.

You can dispute the first CA (the one who sold the account to the second CA) with the CRA as having a non-permissible purpose. Once they have sold the account, they can no longer collect and therefore have to remove the entry.
