I've been trying to find this same info on creditcard OC's reaging accounts on the 180 day+ verge of chargeoff and accepting payments again, with the account never "useable" thereafter.
Does the SOL get "reaged" even though the account was defaulted and could never be used for more credit? NO written agreements were exchanged, only payment checks sent to the OC.
Where & when do state Reage Statutes apply??
I'm in GA, a "No reage without written agreement" state.
Can anyone help with this as I have been puzzling and searching over this for quite awhile.
Houdi...
