Sounds like you are within the SOL. Giving a CA your banking info is not good. Giving them post dated checks!!! I stand by my original advice. These people are scamers. Close your bank account and ignore them. IF they sue, and that will depend on your job and your assets, you have the legal right to make them prove that the debt is yours, that they have a legal right to collect and to sue, and that all charges associated with the debt are correct and allowed in your state. CAs lie and threaten, it's the way they do business. So, your best bet is to watch caller ID, let the machine pick up. Start saving a little money for an attorney in case you need one. With a little luck, they will reazlie that you are not going to pay and move onto easier target. The fact that you have paid them in the past is not in your favor. www.naca.net
