joint ownership in car

I bought a car with my fiance. We are listed as co-owners. We paid cash for the car so there is no lein. My question is --- can the car be seized for payment on a judgement that my fiance got before we even met ( 2 years ago). Can the car be seized if I have no responsibility towards the judgement?
