You right to the credit report and say that the address is not yours. The danger to that is that accounts that are in good standing associated with that address may be deleted as well.

If you get sued, you must answer or they get a default judgment. The burden of proof is on them to prove you owe the money so your defense would be lack of knowlege or denial.
