I would run, not walk, to a consumer advocate lawyer, along with a statement from the lady in your HR dept. and sue the hell out of those jerks. Obviously, this band of outlaws have no sense of decency much less a sense of professional ethic. You need to begin documenting each contact you have with these idiots...... You also need to file a complaint with the AG's office in yur state and the FTC. IF you can't locate a consumer advocate lawyer, you need to contact a local attorney and see if he would take the case on contingency. I would certainly check to see if they are actually a law firm and if so, if they're licensed to practice law in your state....chances are, they're just scumbag collectors. GO GET 'EM !!!
