Oh, good grief! Those guys have absolutely no compunction against trying to collect debts beyond the SOL. That's their favorite way of making a living.

Go to Why Chat's site and follow the instructions for writing an SOL letter to these bozos. Hit them hard and fast, and they will go away. Otherwise, they have a tendency to file suit, hoping that you won't show up and allow them to get a default judgment. Let them know that you are an informed consumer. They will move on to other, easier targets.
