More questions!!! HELP!!!

Okay, so I signed the agreements for Discover/Citibank in CA, then moved to NV (where we fell behind), and are now in TX, deciding whether or not to move back to CA. My BIG question is, where do you keep money if not in a bank? We're going to NEED to set up new utilities, etc, in our next place (wherever that may be), and we can't really start it up in someone else's name, so this is a major concern for me... My next question is, if you are never physically SERVED with summons or something, can they sue you? We've received nothing, but have PO boxes here and in NV... What about debt negotiators? Should we go that route? This whole thing is taking years off my life, so ANY more advice on any of my questions is appreciated!!
