Hi all, Getty here:

As you know I went thru hell and highwater to get this thing vacated (default judgment from CA for an out of SOL Crap 1 acct. ) As it turns out - the CA didn't show up for the Order to Show Cause. Got the vacate of judgment in the mail along with an order to appear for conference next month. It specifically states that it CA doesn't show up their complaint will be dismissed.

Whew, okay NOW my questions:

Since the judgment was vacated, can we get back the $4,000 dollars we already paid toward it (before we knew what we know now?) If so, how?

We have them on FCRA (re-aging, and deliberately reporting false information) and FDCPA violations. Do we file a countersuit at this time, or file seperately in Federal Court?

I'd appreciate any help you can give, but all that aside and with regard to the vacate of judgment itself - WOOOOHOOOO!!!
Thanks, Getty
