Thanks Boad I have just found a list of many affirmative defenses that are possible to use here. I need to find the illinois codes of civil procedure so i can make defenses like this more appliable.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

AFFIRMATIVE DEFENSES

FIRST DEFENSE
Plaintiff failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted,
Plaintiff's Complaint, and each cause of action therein; fails to state facts sufficient to constititute a cause of action against Defendant for which relief can be granted.

whereas no contract, agreement, or performance, oral or written, exists between the Plaintiff and Defendant,

Second Defense
Plaintiff's Complaint violates the Statute of Frauds as the purported contract or agreement falls within a class of contracts or agreements required to be in writing. The purported contract or agreement alleged in the Complaint was not in writing and signed by Defendant or by some other person authorized by Defendant and who was to answer

I would like to put some merit behind these words.
Do you know specifically where I can find such statutes? I know it looks like I am lazy, but this is so overwhelming and a lot to learn in like two days!
