I've had cllectors tell me they have had bad credit at one time or another. So no it doesn't matter.
Assest called me just the other day over a verizon wireless bill for $400. (I cancelled and they charged me 400 for that because I didn't finish out the contract)He admitted he has bad credit at one time. I told him I am $20,000 in debt so does a $400 debt mean squat to me at this poiint?!? He said he doubts Verizon would go to court over 400, but if I ever want to settle for 1/2, they would take it, and politely hung up.To be honest he was nicer than most.
