Can they do something? Yes, they can sue at any time if you are in default. Do they have an agreement in writing? Will they sue? Depends on whether they think you are worth their time or not. If you have assets like a home with equity that they can put a lien against, then yes they will sue. If you have a great job that they can garnish from? Yes. Will they find out about the two accounts? Probably not. They handle thousands of accounts. The chances that someone will remember your name (and they only do that if you are a royal pain in the butt to them) and match it to another account is very statistically small. Could they do it? Yes, but only if they are sufficiently motivated enough to look and hire someone to get you. The amount you owe is not worth their effort.
