If the 'new cash' in your bank is a substantial amount, you might want to consider renting a safety deposit box at your local bank. Every few days, you can withdraw the money you have in your account and purchase a certified/cashier's check. Just make sure you do not withdraw more than $10,000 at a time because the banks are required by law to report any deposits and withdrawals that exceed $10K to the FDIC which then becomes information that is available to other agencies. It might be a good idea to get cashier's checks from a couple of different banks.

IF you decide to file bankruptcy, get a lawyer who specializes in bk because IF your cash came from the recent sale of your house or a settlement, the bk trustee may interpret it as hiding your assets. Whatever you do, document everything you do.
