I have been defying BK since the beginning and hope I can hold out.

See, although this my sound silly, If all the cc's I owe/owed all came at once it would be about 45k...thats alot of money I know but consider.

The current problem is only (I say only..thats funny)about 11k.

The project that got me in this shape was a couple of years dealing in millions of dollars...the last project was over 11 million.

So...although bk seems reasonable in TN. I couldnt bear losing my house (single guy), bought and built it thirty years ago and still there. Granted, at this point I do owe 100%+ (distress sale value)on it after trying to solve the recent/past complications.

Now that might svae the house because of the lack of equity but it is a chance that I couldnt live with. And realistically..if you figure everything...if I bk it all and get a one bedroom apartment and start over...I am really on saving $300-$400 per month.

That seems like such a waste really to give up alifetime investment and a real home to save $10 bucks a day...if you follow me.

Bleive me...I have thought about this whole deal alot in the last couple of years...kinda like we experince a bad dream and nightsweats around the clock....but..tryig to remain somewhat positive and forward thinking to find a path out or back or somewhere.
