The best way of determining how Discover plays is go to the courthouse in which you are being sued and look over all the cases on file in which Discover is a plaintiff. This is public information. There might be a fee. Your court clerk can tell you how to access this information. By looking at that, you will begin to see a pattern and then you can determine if the pattern is something that should alarm you. Many courthouses in New york have their stuff also online which does help a bunch.
