The FTC says it is a violation of the FDCPA for a collector to be calling your neighbors to use them as a messenger service !! The FCDPA says they can contact a 3rd party ONE time to get location information. However, if they already HAVE location information, then they are again violating the FDCPA by harrassing anyone else. I read 'em the riot act - on paper and verbally !
