Cap One has backed down, totally, completely, in full and I have it in writing. :) They are of course still reporting me as a charge off to the credit bureaus even though they say that on March 4th they instructed all the credit bureaus to remove the tradeline completely. The major battle has been won! I've faxed this letter to EX, EQ, and TU, but fully expect it to come back verfied again. But that's ok, cuz this letter I have is as good as gold!
