The CRA's cannot close your open accounts for you. You have to contact the creditors that hold the accounts and ask them to close them. Also ask that they update any entries in your credit reports.

You don't want the CRA's to delete the entries, just to have the information updated with a "paid, account closed at consumer's request" entry when the creditors *do* close the accounts for you.
