A consent judgment means you sign an agreement to pay xx for xx Months, and if you miss a SINGLE payment, they enter a judgment against you without further notice.

How old is this debt, (when did you last pay the original creditor on a USEABLE account) and what State are you in?

Sometimes, unless the consent judgment is signed in a Court sponsored mediated settlement, the CA lawyer will enter the judgment ANYWAY, even if you pay on time.
