I am re-posting because I think this is VERYimportant for everyone to do. They have an e-mail you can write to and this is the FTC, a government office, asking consumers for their credit concerns and about discrimination because of your FICO scores. If you are like me and HAD good credit but an unfortunate, out of your control thing happen and you were with less or no money to pay your bills and then you watched you credit and life go down the drain?? This is a chance for all people who have worked and are still working to improve their credit but can't get a break in the system because your scores are too crappy you can't rebuild. For those who want a credit card or a mortgage or a new car...THIS is the chance to write your story and let it be heard and hope for a difference...reform in the system that is VERY faulted. When you pull your credit report and it is razy and inacurate and trying to get it corrected is such a nightmare. This may be a one time chance to let them hear your voice and see that bad things CAN happen to good people and that every case needs to be reviewed case by case and not lump us in with the few bad apples that spoil the bunch. People deserve a second chance and this may be it.
