If you did not enter into any WRITTEN settlement agreements, and if the CA has not ALREADY filed a lawsuit against you, then you are probably past the 3 year NC SOL for CC open accounts.

My website has 2 NC consumer lawyers names liked at the bottom of the NC page. If your last ON TIME payment to the OC was prior to 04/2001, and if the OC did not furnish a written agreement to the CCC that YOU signed, then you are likely beyond SOL, and can tell the CA lawyer to kiss off.
