credit takes time. get hard copies of all reports..dispute anything you dont recognize,,or is wrong..duplicates, out of date. (i simply used notebook paper and sent it reg mail..it worked fine. ) your own inquiries dont hurt..only "hard inquiries" which must have permissible purpose and stay on for 2 years. these must be disputed with the original company who put them there.(annoying and useless to try unless their very new--its a huge pain) softs..no one sees but you, will usually be in greater number and dont hurt a thing, opt out to prevent so many inquiries. the CRAs have 30 days to verify any disputed entry. they will send you the results and proof of verification..as well as all names and addresses of companies reporting on your report. good luck..it takes a while...dont just send in 100 "not mines" at once ...they will mark it frivolous and ignore you. clean up the obvious ones you truly believe are wrong and make sure all the good ones are correct.
