As far as I know concerning this particular debt the original CC company already did sue that was the reason that we filed chapter 13 bk in the first place. I was under the assumption they got a default judgement against us but we applied and purchased a home this year and there werent any complications or even a mention of it when we applied for the mortgage. I will definately look into changing banks I have already called and found another with similar accts etc with actually better benifits so that will work out I suppose. As far as the actual credit report do you know if the 7 years is from the last time we made payment to the original CC or is it from the time when the debt is sold? The reason i ask is this particular debt had been sold almost once a year when I last checked my CR in March.
Thanks again for responding so fast its at least eased my mind about them trying to in some way mess with our house.
