I posted a little back that the OC who charged off my account in 01 and sold it to Collect America that same year reported a collection on my CR in 9/03 for the same account...well I ran my CR and faxed them a letter stating please remove the Collection from my report since you have charged off this account and sold to another lender in 01'...I got a letter back from them today stating "the above account has been sold to CACV please call them with any questions"..and thats it!!! did they not understand my letter? I even faxed them my current CR with the Collection from 9/03 circled on it....what can I do next? thanks
p.s. also their Charge Off is also showing on my report which is fine but I dont understand the collection.
