yeah, Jk, mine defer. every year. its good for a year. so far, its kept it showing current and good standing..just deferred. hope someday they can actually pay it but until then..hell, it may be 50,000 by then. one has to apply tho..every year..to defer it. they were taking the kids income tax refund..for several years..which was a drop in the bucket on the loan. they are not a smart thing to do..if you cant pay it back. my daughter has figured hers to be paid back in 6 months..using her whole salary..to get hers off her back. if not,,the interest will kill ya. and it will not go away. ever.
