Judgement Questions - Oregon

I have a received a judgement for a credit card in the year 2000. I have since been making payments every month to an attorney. My employer received a verification form from them last week and the attorney is now calling me. I have not spoken with them yet. If they pursue a garnishment, how can I avoid my joint bank accounts being siezed? I am married and my husbands name is on them.
