Well, you have a way to go for TN SOL which is 6 years for open accounts. http://whychat.5u.com/States/state-te.html It's really too late to try to pay them off now. They are all charged off and been sold or assigned to CAs. Definitely DO NOT talk to CAs on the phone. Ignore them unless somebody sues you. If you have assets that are not exempt from judgement, NOW is the time to protect them. These bad tradelines will fall off your credit report after 7 years. So, by 2007, you will have good credit again. OR no credit. Fortunately the good stuff remains for 10 years, so if you have some good tradelines reporting that is another positive. Just keep doing what you are doing. Lie low, do not apply for any credit. You want to keep current employment and address unknown for as long as possible. IF SOMEONE SUES.........that is the time to get an attorney. Good Luck.
