CACV is Collect America and they're a lying bunch of thieves - VERY bad reputation.

If neither of you knows what debt it is they're trying to collection - check your credit reports. They CAN keep charging interest and fees even after an account is charged-off, so the amounts are going to change - UPWARDS !

Once you figure out what debt it is, then you can determine whether or not the SOL has expired on it and go from there.
