Sears USED to be quite nasty to deal with, showing up and demaning reaffirmations or the return of the stuff they bought. Sears was fined, hugely, by the US Bankruptcy courts and sued by almost every state for their strong-arm tactics in trying to force reaffs. They are now barred from those tactics.

They are now a toothless tiger, totally subdued and rarely show up at 341 meetings any more.

When Sears sold its credit card biz to CitiBank, it also gave up its age-old practice of holding a security interest in things you buy - meaning they can no longer demand the property back. So, since you just bought the stove in Feb, you have nothing to worry about as far as CB making those kinds of demands.

AS for the use of the CC so soon before filing, its POSSIBLE that that part of the debt MAY not be discharged, however, since your purchase was a necessity, it probably won't be an issue at all.

I don't think you have a thing to worry about.
