CACV (Collect America) is a pennies on the dollar debt buying outfit run by Philip Scott Lowery. He normally farms out the collections to franchised attorney/collection agencies all over the country that threaten to sue people anywhere, anytime, anyplace. National Asset Recovery is a contingency fee collection agency. He must be scraping up so many dead accounts, his own franchises can’t handle the workload.

No wonder the original creditors only get a few pennies on the dollar when they sell these accounts. There’s no money left over for them with the multiple layers of debt maggots all feeding off the same dead accounts.

You won’t be able to figure out what account it is just by the balance. They’ll make up a balance 2 to 3 times what you originally owed and more than 50 to 100 times what they paid for the account to poison your credit reports with a brand new collection account that appears like you just defaulted last week. All standard operating procedure for debt buying parasites.
