if you don't talk to them. Who do you think they are going to harass, the person who gets on the phone with them and does not pay, or maybe even gives them some lip or the person who does not talk to them. It's just psychology, if they get pissed at you, they are more likely to re-age or recommend that you be sued, or whatever it is they can do to retaliate.
