There is no estate - there is the house that was joint on the mortgage, but I put that into trust last week. Nothing will go to probate. I have life insurance, but I don't think CC are able to find out about it. My house also still has a morgage. One of the credit cards that was my husbands (and I was an authorized user) threatened that they could put a lien on the house since it was joint on the mortgage, but I put it in a land trust as of last week. Will this prevent that from happening?
