I live in CA and the SOL for this account was 05/2003. On my Experian report, Sears reports that they wrote off the account in 02/2000. They continue, however, to show Collection activity and a Balance history since 03/2002 to 04/2004. Below is a cut and paste of the information: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Account History: Collection as of 3-2003, 2-2003, 1-2003, 12-2002, 11-2002, 10-2002, 9-2002, 8-2002, 7-2002, 6-2002, 5-2002, 4-2002, 3-2002 Charge Off as of 12-1999 to 2-2002 180 days as of 11-1999, 10-1999 150 days as of 9-1999 120 days as of 8-1999, 7-1999 90 days as of 6-1999 60 days as of 5-1999, 6-1998 30 days as of 5-1998 Balance History: $0 04/2004 $0 03/2004 $0 02/2004 $0 01/2004 $0 12/2003 $0 11/2003 $0 10/2003 $0 09/2003 $0 08/2003 $0 07/2003 $0 06/2003 $0 05/2003 $0 04/2003 $0 03/2003 $0 02/2003 $0 01/2003 $0 12/2002 $0 11/2002 $0 10/2002 $0 09/2002 $0 08/2002 $0 07/2002 $0 06/2002 Between 6-2002 and 4-2004, your credit limit/high balance was $2,020 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Is this re-aging? What can be done? Can I sue them for FCRA violations? (27months*$1000) Sincerely, Fishyhead.
