a question about sol

i'm just trying to find out a couple questions if any could answeri'm just 23 years old and i got a discover card when i was 18 in college in tennessee but used michigan as my home address which one does the sol applies to. I also now owe on that credit card so if the sol is 7 yrs i don't have to pay that bill anymore
