I see this question all the time but have not yet seen a straight answer to it:

On my EX credit report there is an account with OCs that was CO in 1998. But the TL reads Charge off as of 6-98; 8-98; 1-99 and so on until 4-04. Doesn't this make the TL look more recent? And if so, isn't that re-aging?

Please, someone give me a straight answer - it would REALLY clairfy things! Thanks, Getty.
