Under the Bankruptcy Code, there is nothing called a Chapter "20" Bankruptcy. A Chapter "20" Bankruptcy is two separate Bankruptcy proceedings where the debtors first file a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, and then followed by a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. The second proceeding is intended to discharge certain debts which were not dischargeable under the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Bankruptcy practitioners called this a Chapter "20," by adding 7 and 13 (7+13=20)!
